Common use

Iverheal tablet is an effective medication primarily used for managing a variety of parasitic infections. This medicine falls under the class of medicines known as ectoparasiticides.
This medicine is also used to manage intestinal strongyloidiasis and onchocerciasis, infections caused by parasitic worms such as Wuchereria bancrofti, and external parasitic infestations like head lice and scabies.

Dosage and direction

Swallow the tablet whole with water. It's best to take it on an empty stomach. The tablet should not be crushed or chewed. Should you have any doubts about the dose or frequency, consult your doctor. Do not stop taking this medicine abruptly without consulting your doctor.

Precautions

Caution is advised while taking Iverheal if you are pregnant. It is best to consult your doctor before taking this medicine. If you are breastfeeding, you should weigh the benefits and risks of using Iverheal, as it may pass into breast milk.

Contraindications

Drug interaction

Iverheal interacts with the following medicines:
Anticoagulants: Blood-thinning medicines like warfarin may interact with Iverheal tablet, which can increase the risk of bleeding.
Benzodiazepines: Use of Iverheal tablet along with benzodiazepines like alprazolam and diazepam may enhance neurotoxicity and respiratory depression.
Barbiturates: Medicines such as phenobarbital and amobarbital can cause significantly increased CNS depression when used in combination with Iverheal.

Missed dose

If you forget to take your regular dose of Iverheal, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it's nearly time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue with your usual schedule. Do not increase your dosage without consulting your doctor.

Overdose

An overdose of Iverheal may lead to mild symptoms such as headache, dizziness, skin rash, and vomiting. If you've taken more than the prescribed dosage and begin feeling unwell, it's important to inform your doctor.

Storage

Store Iverheal in a cool, dry place, ideally below 30°C. Ensure the container is tightly closed to prevent exposure to air. Keep it out of reach of children at all times. Always remember to use the medicine before its expiration date.
